Hello My Name Is...
Deacon Steve Frueh

Welcome! I am beginning my first year at Sacred Heart High School where I will be teaching religion to the sophomore classes. I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration and a Master of Science in Public Services Administration. I served five years as a trooper with the Kansas Highway Patrol followed by 27 years as a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) in the U.S. Department of Justice, serving throughout the United States, retiring in 2014. I received my diaconal formation from St. Meinrad Theological Seminary, St. Meinrad, Indiana, and was ordained June 4, 2016. My wife and I live on a small piece land west of Salina where we raise two cows and calves.
