Booster Club Welcome Letter
Parents, Alumni and Friends of Sacred Heart,
The Booster Club would like to take this time to welcome all parents as boosters for our 2021-2022 school year. Thank You to those who volunteered their time for our various activities throughout the previous year.
The Sacred Heart Booster Club invites you to become a member of our organization. We are a group of parents and friends dedicated to supporting our student activities, athletes and coaching staff. Our mission is to assist in providing supplies and uniforms for the junior high and high school sports teams. Our primary fundraisers include tier memberships, a summer Softball/Baseball tournament, income earned from the concession stands at the various athletic events, and the sale of merchandise that proudly bears our Knights logo. We are pleased to share that in the past five years alone, the Sports Booster Club has provided over $100,000 in assistance to the various programs of our school. This helps keep the overall cost of attending Sacred Heart Jr./Sr. High down, which directly benefits all students and parents.
Sacred Heart Booster Club's primary objective is to promote the growth and success of your child's extra-curricular, co-curricular and athletic programs by providing human, material and financial assistance where needed. In an effort to accommodate these needs and reduce/omit classroom fundraising, the Booster Club adopted a tier program. To ensure each individual student at Sacred Heart has the opportunity to develop spirit, mind and body, we seek to provide programs of opportunity outside the normal school curriculum.
How can you help?
- Join the Booster Club meetings which are generally held on the 1st Wednesday each month @ 7pm
- Purchase a supportive TIER with Knights Booster Club *see tier program
- Help make funding decisions, by attending and voting
- Get involved by volunteering to work on a Booster Club fundraiser or activity
- Show your support by advertising in our Activities program
- Be an active Sacred Heart Knights fan by attending activities and supporting our students
How can you get started?
- Jump right in and attend the next meeting
- Contact any of the following officers to volunteer your participation
- Be available to volunteer when you are called upon
Concessions are one of our major sources of income, which in turn is used to support various school activities. As a private school, we are responsible for managing our concessions to provide refreshments to our visiting schools. Each class is assigned a representative to reach out to you, to volunteer for concessions. Your high school student may volunteer on their own. Your Junior High student can also volunteer, but must be accompanied by their parent.
When a concession stand representative reaches out to you, please give of your time.
