Sondra Palen
Welcome! I teach Advanced Math, Calculus, Algebra II, College Algebra, Algebra I-B and I am the Senior Class sponsor. I am also the High School Head Volleyball coach and Community Dean of Margaret Mary. I am in my 24th year at Sacred Heart. I received my B.A. in Mathematics Education at Bethany College in 1990 after attending Marymount College from 1986-1989. I achieved Honor Roll status for all semesters while lettering on the collegiate volleyball team. My professional experience includes teaching and coaching at Smith Center High School (‘93-‘96) and Eastern Heights High School (‘90-‘93). My husband, Brad, and I have four children: Nicole, 2011 graduate of SHHS; Austin, a 2014 graduate of SHHS; Blake, a 2018 graduate of SHHS; and Amber, a junior at SHHS.
