Welcome to the Sacred Heart High Schools’ website. I hope that you find the information on this website to be informative and helpful. Sacred Heart is proudly celebrating its 114th anniversary this school year. Although the original site and buildings have changed over the years, the legacy and proud tradition of providing a quality Catholic education to the people and community of Salina have remained.
The faculty, staff, shareholders, and parents of Sacred Heart Jr-Sr High School expect a strong and balanced academic program for all our students while instilling the Christian and Catholic values necessary for spiritual and religious formation. As highlighted by our mission statement, we seek to educate the whole person, spirit, mind and body, according to our Catholic faith tradition. We view our school as an academic and spiritual center where faith and academic culture can come together as one. We are committed to educating the whole child by providing a strong foundation that balances academic focus with faith-based service and leadership activities. We are proud of our small class sizes which allow our staff to offer individual attention and instruction for all our students.
Without a doubt, the people who make up the Sacred Heart Community are our biggest assets. This would include students, staff, parents, alumni, local parishes and supporting community. We are proud that we are able to get to know our students and focus on the needs of the individual student. In addition, the teamwork and professionalism among the staff is exceptional, making communication and commitment to our mission almost seamless. Our students are resilient, our staff dedicated and our parents committed. This combination leads us to be able to accomplish marvelous things.
